The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are going big with astonishing 6.1” and 6.7” inches, respectively. They also have the gorgeous Super Retina XDR display with OLED technology that can support 1200 nits peak HDR brightness, 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and Dolby vision.

Built to last, both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are built with a ceramic shield, aerospace-grade aluminum, water resistance, and dust resistance.

In terms of performance, both models contain the A15 Bionic Chip, which consists of a 5-core GPU, 6-core CPU, neural engine, image signal processor, and extraordinary features that delivery excellent power efficiency, privacy, and security. This makes it faster than any competing phone model.

The iPhone 14 has a new 12MP main camera with a larger sensor, larger pixels at 1.9µm, 1.5 aperture, sensor-shift OIS, and a 49% improvement in low-light capture, for more vibrant color and better results in environments with challenging lighting.

For the front camera, on the other hand, the iPhone 14 now has a 12MP TrueDepth camera with 1.9 aperture and 38% low-light improvement. It also has Autofocus, so it can focus clearly at multiple distances.

And now, Apple is introducing a new concept: Photonic Engine. This deep fusion feature is applied to enhance colors and textures for better low-light performance.

Both main and front cameras also have Action Mode, which provides better stabilization and smoother video movement without extra equipment.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus both come with two new features that prioritize consumers’ safety and security: Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via Satellite.

The display size remains the same as standard iPhones – 6.1” and 6.7 inches – but now with even thinner borders, more active area, and the Dynamic Island. The iPhone 14 Pro also has a peak HDR brightness of 1600 nits, so photos and videos (even those you have recorded from your iPhone) are going to look fantastic. It also comes with an Always-On display, where you can view the time and other essential information without having to raise your iPhone or tap on the display.

The performance of the iPhone 14 Pro is powered by the new A16 Bionic Chip, with two high-performance cores, four high-efficiency cores, 5-core GPU, neural engine, and a new display engine.

The iPhone 14 Pro comes with a 48MP main camera with a quad-pixel sensor, the largest sensor yet in Apple’s history. It also comes with 2.44µm quad-pixel size, 1.78 aperture, and 24 mm focal length.

There is also the 12Mp ultrawide camera, which is built to better support low-light images, improving the photo quality 3x more.

Similar to the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, the camera of the iPhone 14 Pro comes with Action Mode and Photonic Engine as well. Apple is also updating Cinematic mode to work in 4k at 30fps.

The iPhone 14 Pro also comes with the latest Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via Satellite.

Saving Mother Earth with Today’s Launch

By the end of every product introduction, Apple made it clear that they aimed to observe sustainability when it comes to making their products, with the goal of building 100% carbon neutral products by 2030.

For instance, when building the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple used Arsenic free glass and recycled plastics for multiple components, including the speaker. They also used 100% recycled gold in the wiring of all the cameras and the plating of the circuit boards.
